Hackler plumbing has come to our rescue a couple of times, in McKinne, TX. They are courteous, professional, and timely. This time we had them cap off the sink plumbing while we replace a bathroom vanity. While they were here, they also replaced the line to the toilet. We are happy to say that we found our go-to for our plumbing needs.

After being ghosted by several "local" companies, Hacklers swooped in to save the day! They answered my call right away and had someone out to my place in a flash. The repair was supposed to take about an hour, but they wrapped it up in less than 30 minutes—AAMAZZING! And guess what? The plumber told me the owner is a Pottsboro resident, so I still got to support local business. I'll always recommend these guys—absolutely fantastic! 🎉

Hackler has been our plumbing go to for at least 8 years. Their prices are reasonable (as plumbing goes) and they always get the job done right. They were able to correct broken pipe issues and re-plumbed pipe issues to our septic systems. If they don't do it, they have great references for work to be done.

Very unprofessional! They came out and charged me $60 for an estimate I never received. Called the number they gave me and apparently it was the “owner” who would not let me speak, always spoke over me, and told me he would have my estimate sent to me via email Friday evening. Never received an email with an estimate. I messaged the “owner” and told him I didn’t receive the email, called the number that I called to set up the appointment to do the estimate and still no answer. Please choose another plumber that is worth your time.

I had a fabulous experience with the two gentleman that came out to fix my master shower. Called Saturday, they were available to come out Monday, called to let me know they were on their way! Tried very hard not to cut into my walls (very appreciative) once they got in the wall, they were quick to get supplies and shower fixed. They even cleaned up after themselves. Bonus, they were dog friendly!

I haven’t used Hackler plumbing, and based on reviews, I imagine they’re quality plumbers. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with a company van. I was driving on Eldorado & was in the turning lane for 75. One of the company’s vans literally cut me off to get in front of me in the turning lane. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid being hit! I would’ve gladly let him in if he’d requested to move into my lane. This wasn’t the case. Sorry I didn’t get the license plate. I was a little shaken.

Hackler to the rescue! After the Great Freeze of '21 they were able to work us in, finding the two leaks and getting to them even though one was obscurely hidden and nearly impossible to reach. They are really pleasant, home town young men from a family owned local business. I definitely would recommend.

At first the technician was really polite. He made it clear he may not be able to fix the issue. We still do not know issue. However, he created an extra issue. That isn’t the problem as much as the customer service you receive when dealing with whomever answers the phone. They yell at you and hang up on you! She screamed “ You’re not a plumber, so how would you know?” I may not be plumber. But, if I were you would have $99 less dollars in your business. Don’t be hateful and disrespectful. There is no need. They really need a lesson in professionalism.

My PRV valve apparently was failing on a new home. The first company I hired came out with a book on pricing-all they talked about was numbers. Fortunately I found Hackler plumbing, who was concerned about the issues and didn’t mention any numbers until after they troubleshooted the problem. They are down to earth, polite, very professional lads who did a great job & even cleaned up after the digging outside, and even set the valve cover in place as it was not before since I moved in (the PRV can now be identified easily). I didn’t even have to be there while the work was done, and they called me later for payment. I will definitely call them again for future problems and definitely recommend them!

Excellent team! Hackler Plumbing repaired a broke sewer pipe 25 feet under our concrete foundation. I was able to schedule the job the same day I called them, and found their pricing to be quite reasonable. We were even able to use the plumbing while they were working. They were speedy and did solid work. The city inspector was impressed when he came to approve the repair. They are professional, friendly, and very experienced. I learned a lot about slab house plumbing over the course of the week as they updated me on the status of the project. I highly recommend them to anyone in the McKinney, Texas area!

FYI: Had a 3/4 " Shutoff valve replaced on my house front today. $600. Really? I had even dug up the valve in diagnosing the problem. The Ball valve they replaced with maybe cost $20 and it took 2 of them 2 hours. They said the charge was normally $650 but gave the $50 discount. WOW. If I had the time and tools would have done myself. I didn't have time for plumber shopping. The guys did an apparently good job (no leaks yet) and were very courteous which is why 2 stars, but the price was way out of line with the effort. Hackler Plumbing should take note.

I woke up to the sound of running water coming from my water heater. I looked up a plumber in my area and came across Hackler Plumbing - 24 Hr Svc!!! OMG... you had me at 24 hrs. From my 1st conversation with Sherry to my 1st handshake with Brad & Dillon. These guys were courtesy, professional, timely and straight to the point. Brad even spoke with my Home Warranty company (which is another story). Thank you all so much for getting me taken care of so quickly. I wish my home warranty company would have been paying this bill but again, that's another review.

Our experience with Hackler Plumbing was amazing from the start. To be able to find a local business that cares about local residents and families was so special. They understood what was needed and they assisted us in accomplishing something that several other local plumbers were not willing or able to help with!! When it comes to plumbing/hot water, that is just something that is essential to daily life. Hackler plumbing is the reason that a special family has hot water tonight!! Fantastic company! Our tankless water heater stopped heating our water. We called our warranty company on Monday and someone wasn’t going to come out until Thursday. We couldn’t wait that long, so we called Hackler Plumbing. They came out the same day and Felix assessed the unit and found the problem in a timely manner. He was very thorough and informed us on how to resolve the issue ourselves in the future. Overall, we were very impressed with their timeliness, knowledge, friendless, and pricing. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

After having been abandoned by another plumber who wanted to charge me double what he quoted after he started, Felix and his team at Hackler came in and took over. They were on-time, stayed on budget and went above and beyond to help us get back in our home. They even came up with some creative ways to fix some areas that would have otherwise required drywall removal. Sheena in the office was also very courteous and responsive. I can't say enough positive things about them. Hackler Plumbing has a customer for life.

I was charged $325 to install a disposal I bought at Home Depot. 8 mo later I found brown leaking from pipe connection under the sink. Another plumber came out, said Hackler had not put a long enough pipe, so it was leaking. They replaced all plumbing under kitchen sink for $200.00, fixing the leak.

Woke up on Christmas Eve with both toilets clogged and sewage water backing up in both bathtubs and showers. I immediately started calling every company that showed 24 Hr service but with it being a Sunday plus Christmas Eve no one was answering and if they did they told me they were not working because of the holiday. Sheena at Hackler Plumbing answered the phone right away and went way beyond her means in trying to find someone to come out and help me. Feliz arrived in 45 minutes and ran a scope with a camera to find that my tree roots had invaded the main sewer line. I had another plumbing company that came out 3 weeks prior to this for the same problem but never did this procedure to actually find out what was causing it. Long story short the owner Brad came out Tuesday the day after Christmas and it was all fixed by Wednesday. This family owned company in my opinion truly cares about trying to help you and went way beyond what other companies would normally do at a price that is extremely reasonable considering they had to dig an 8ft hole to repair my pipe. The guys cleaned up and left my yard looking good after the hole was filled. I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs fast, dependable and honest service!!
